Day 62 – The day before Musikfest starts

Su has some unusual breakfasts … saying that she doesn’t feel there are only certain appropriate breakfast foods. In this case, she had a little guacamole, some cake, and some nacho chips and salsa …

First, Chicago had its artistic cows, then, there were artistic guitars in Austin and in Bethlehem there are artistic mules…

Both the young and the old(er) seem to be very interested in studying Su’s technique as she carves her 6th and last watermelon in the USA.

The finished product …

Back to the pool … a SCUBA diver in the making …

The next series of 3 photos is entitled “Graceful Su” … (there won’t be any gold medals for diving … )

This evening, we got to see a new side of Pa Marylou … as Doctor Clueless …

Dr Clueless is also a photographer …

An honorary presentation from the Mayor of Bethlehem was made …

The clowns in this group (the Disciples of JOY) work as volunteers in the community - in hospitals, schools, etc.

In addition to being an artist … doing gold art, fruit carving, etc, she also can be a canvas…

Su and Pa Marylou

Su and Aleisha …

A clever little totem pole

The only professional clown in the volunteer group is “Andy the Clown” …

After the clowns were honored for the evening … Su realized she was hungry.. and it was getting late (1030pm) … and Su had not yet tasted on of Pete’s famous hot dogs … SO .. Lung Ted, Mike and Su went to Pete’s for a “snack” …

Su was able to try hot dogs with chili, sauerkraut, perogies, and French Fries …

If one painted faced beauty is good … two has to be better …

Su’s snack continues.. with desert … Yodels, Devil Dogs, TastyKake, Cheesecake, and of course, another chili hog dog…
